Meet The Team

With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, I’ve devoted my life to nurturing young minds and helping children build strong foundations for a lifetime of learning. I opened my first preschool in 2004 and have since grown into a leader in both traditional early childhood practices and the Montessori approach. I hold formal education in Early Childhood Development and have completed specialized training in Montessori methods.

As a mother, grandmother, and lifelong educator, I believe every child deserves to feel safe, loved, and empowered to discover the world at their own pace.

My mission at Little Steps Montessori Academy is to create a joyful, peaceful environment where children are respected as individuals and inspired to grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

Mr. Eli brings strong leadership and organizational skills to his role as Director of Administration and Program Coordinator at Little Steps Montessori Academy. He is responsible for overseeing staff operations and ensuring the quality and consistency of the educational experience provided to every child. With a focus on excellence, communication, and support, Mr. Eli plays a key role in maintaining a nurturing, structured, and enriching environment for both students and staff.

As part of the Corporate Management team at Little Steps Montessori—and a proud mom of six—Mrs. Faye brings a unique blend of hands-on parenting wisdom and strong, values-driven leadership to work. She specializes in building supportive teams, streamlining operations, and creating systems that help both staff and students succeed. Her leadership style is collaborative, compassionate, and solution-oriented, with a focus on clear communication and continuous growth. She's very passionate about cultivating environments where children feel empowered to explore and where educators feel equipped to thrive—because she believes both are key to meaningful, lasting learning.

​Hi, my name is Kaycee Yates, and I’m so excited to be part of the LSMA team this year! I grew up in Elkhart, Texas, and recently graduated from Elkhart High School. My passion for working with young children began through volunteering and helping out at church, where I saw the impact positive guidance can have on a child’s development. I love watching children learn and grow into their unique personalities. This school year, I’m most looking forward to building strong connections with each child and helping them feel confident, safe, and curious.
